Twin beds a too close together.
Top Tip
Some good bars & restaurants south of the river. Some lively bars near by, but difficult to spot.

Much nearer than most hotels to Ribeira. No problem with the 20 min walk downhill. You can get a taxi, 5 eur coming back.
Top Tip
It all happens really in Ribeira.

This Hotel is listed as four star but I feel three star is more appropriate, the decor is very dated but the rooms are very clean. There is no restaurant at the Hotel, Basically it is a good B & B with a Bar (which is very small) that said the Hotel was convenient to most things, Staff are very helpful and will give you advise and directions. Nothing in the immediate vicinity of the Hotel. Coming back from the River area some parts are quite steep. If you have hired a car there are a lot of one way streets which can take you some time.
Top Tip
If you come out of the Hotel and turn left, heading straight downhill the first square has a few bars/snack bars you will pass a Restaurant called "Irene Jalim" it is a renovated building new and modern, food is fantastic and very reasonable for the standard, if it was located closer to the River the prices would be much higher but you would be hard to meet the standard. Down at the Riberia "Chez Lapin" is the place, staff very helpful and efficient and food is fab. Transport system great. Straight from the Airport to the centre of Porto by Metro. Bus Tours cover everything.

This hotel is quite a walk up from the river but it is in a nice area with plenty of shops and cafes on your door step. The main shopping area was also very close. Staff and service were great and also a good breakfast included!
